Did Someone say “Breakfast at Tiffany’s?”

It’s real and it’s hot! The 1961 romantic comedy featuring Audrey Hepburn-inspired cafe Blue Box, at the Tiffany & Co. flagship store on 5th avenue in NYC is all the rage. Try getting a reservation…weeks to a month in advance and you’ll be hooked on chasing notifications for tables available.

I snatched one up though, a quaint corner table for two with a view, one of a limited number of tables in a small but darling setting. The Tiffany blue-painted room featured delicious cocktails [try The Blue Box Cafe Champagne Martini with rosé champagne and ice wine] and array of exotic teas, [No. 96 White wedding with hints of white peony and orange blossoms] plus all-time faves like Avocado toast, the Charles Lewis Tiffany Club sandwich and their signature 10-Carat Breakfast featuring Siberian caviar on Buttermilk waffles.

I opted for the afternoon Tiffany Tea, including finger sandwiches, sweet and savoury scones, Blue Box petit fours and a beautiful Tiffany edible bird’s nest. It was just all lovely and delicious which did not surprise me. Food, atmosphere and service all around was delightful.
My date, my hubby, had the waffles and they did not disappoint.
Such a great way to spend a brunch date, ladies lunch, kids birthday etc. There’s something for everyone, no doubt.

The 4th floor retreat also offered a lounge library-like sitting area, a beautiful nook of baby gifts plus everything Tiffany Blue. It’s hard to walk out of there without a Blue bag but worth the spend and investment – especially for gifts. I mean who doesn’t love opening up a Blue Box?

Definitely a must next time you’re in NYC.

Thank you #blueboxcafe for having us. We’ll be back soon! @tiffanyandco
